A MOTHER IS A RARE GEM

God in HIS infinite grace ingeniously created a loving and serendipitous being from the ribcages of man [as it is written in the scriptures], the one who could serves as a breastplate for her family, the one who channels nothing but unconditional love for her family; THE MOTHER.

During my days in islamiyya, my clerics always quoted some words and he made sure we got it deep rooted in our hearts. He said in one of his lectures " During childbirth, women(our mothers) is placed at the brink of death, both her legs placed diagonally at the realms of life and death. He said researchers has proven that, if a pregnant woman has an organ damage, the baby in her womb sends a stem cell to help in repairing the organ. The bond that exist between the mother and the child is truly intriguing, not to mention the pain she passes through during the entire gestation period and childbirth. But today advancement in science and technology has engineered its way into the way women give birth. In a situation where the pregnant woman can't deliver via the vaginal birth, a CS (Cesarean section) is often conducted to delivered the baby of the mother safely. Nowadays we see women preferring to undergo Cesarean section rather than going through the normal way as the former seemed more easier , safe and less painful to them.

As kids, we're bound to make mistakes and annoy them sometimes and as a result we gets tongued lashed and eventually receive scolding. It's just the human nature and we being human shows again why this scenario could take place. Respect them because your janah lies on their feets. Even if you buy the largest cruise ship in the world for her or you take her to the moon and back you can't make up for what she has done for you. I've cringed this piece at heart for a very long time.

I visited my aunt who just put to bed 5 months ago and I met her nursing her child. Suddenly, before she could say stop, the baby had started crying, her body temperature raised immediately and as a result, this threw my aunt into panic and confusion. As an infant who can't communicate yet with only wails, no one could tell what was wrong with the baby, this further made her mother shrugged, cowered in fear, and the feeling of insecurity after everything she tried proved futile. God so kind, after what seemed like forever, this little fella eventually stopped crying and slept off. A nurse was summoned later and she diagnosed the baby with a slight fever and prescribed some drugs.

I was left completely astounded, balked with poignant questions while watching all this. I felt a sigh of relief eventually. This embodies by empathic nature, and further drowned my heart into how worried and perplexed our mothers could be at the instance of her kids not feeling well. My aunt who saw this teased me and mumbled some words about my mom also struggling same way before I got to this stage.

Not taking anything away from the men (our fathers). The men of valor and the ones who were accustomed with an inestimable level of tenacity. They equally deserve our respect. Enough of the hail Mary praises that might induce controversies. This article is about women so we need to appreciate them.
Hat's off to all Mothers across the globe.
